Eligibility for Annamalai University MBBS BDS Admissions 2016

Applicant should be a citizen of India .

Overseas citizens of India who are registerd under section 7A of the citizenship Act 1955 (central Act 57 of 1955) are eligible to apply for MBB /BDS courses subject to the production of proof of such registration.

Nativity

  Applicant should be native of Tamil Nadu.

Applicants who have studied from VIII to XII standards at schools inside Tamil Nadu not enclose the

"Nativity Certificate".

Apllicant who are native of Tamil Nadu but studied foro VIII to XII std either partly or completly at schools situated outside Tamil Nadu should produce the "Nativity Certificate".

The nativity certificate in Tamil Nadu should be issued by the competent authorityonly in the specified format available in the prospectus (annexure-VII(b)) and support by a copy of passport/ ration Card / Birth certificate .If the Copy of the supporting document is not produced ,then the applicantion will be rijected. Nativity Certificate subimitted later will be summarily rejected.

Application without a proper Nativity Certificate will not be considered.

permanent residence Certificate will not be accepted.

Nativity Certificate must be produced as per instructions for Nativity Certificate in Annexure-VII(a).

Production of false Nativity Certificate, if  found during the course of study,will result in expulsion of the applicant and also initiation of criminal proceedins against the Applicant as well as the parent as per law.

Age Limit

 Applicants should have completed seven years of age on or before 31st of December ,2016.i.e should

have born on or before 31.12.1998.Evidence should be produced.

Educational Qualificancation for MBBS BDS Admissions

Applicant should have passed in all the subject of the qualifying examonation of the Higher  secondar

course conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board / any Other equivalent boaard in a single sitting with the following group of subjects and securing minimum eligible marks.

a) Physics ,chemistry,botany and Zoology.(or)

(b) Physics ,Chemistry,Botany with any other subject.

Applicant who have passed the hsc in the vocational stream and private applicationts are not eligible 

to apply for Medical /Dental courses.
